Conference Attendance

Attendance at Professional Meetings and Conferences (Category 7), is worth a maximum of 4 CM points.

Non-Laser Conferences

These events may be worth CM points based on the number and duration of laser safety sessions attended (see the time-specific point breakdown below).

How to Claim Points:

Please fill out a Conference Verification Worksheet identifying laser-related sessions attended. CM Points are determined based on length of laser safety and laser application sessions attended. Be sure to attach a copy of the conference agenda and proof of attendance! Sessions that are not related to lasers or laser safety will not be counted.

Point breakdown per laser activity, per day:

  • < 2 hours = 0.25 CM point
